The LoadJunky Mutual Rating System · Buyers AND sellers get rated. Every load. Both directions.
A two-way 5-star rating system designed to push bad actors out of the supply chain — on both sides of the deal.
★ Trust System
Every load gets rated. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Both ways.
Most marketplaces only let buyers rate sellers — which means the worst buyers (the ones who back out, dispute everything, or pay late) keep wrecking sellers and nobody warns the next one. LoadJunky rates both sides of every transaction. If you're a bad buyer, sellers see it. If you're a bad seller, buyers see it. Reputation cuts both ways.

How It Works
1
A Load Closes
Once a seller marks a load as Delivered and the buyer confirms receipt on LoadJunky, the transaction enters the rating window.
2
Both Sides Get a Prompt
Within 24 hours, both the buyer and the seller receive a "Rate This Transaction" email + dashboard notification. Same 5-star form on each side.
3
Submit Within 7 Days
Both sides have 7 days to submit a 1–5 star rating, category breakdown, and a short written review. After 7 days, the window closes.
4
Public · Permanent · Mutual
Ratings are released simultaneously so neither side sees the other's rating before submitting. Once posted, they're public on both profiles forever.

The Rules — What Keeps This Honest
The 7 Rules of LoadJunky Ratings
Only verified transactions count. You can't rate someone you've never done a deal with. The system only enables the rating prompt after a confirmed load closes.
Both ratings post simultaneously. Neither side can see the other's rating until both are submitted (or the 7-day window closes). Prevents retaliation scoring.
Comments are public · names are real. No anonymous reviews. The person leaving the review must be the verified business that signed the deal.
One transaction = one rating. You don't get to rate the same counterparty multiple times for the same load. Repeat business gets fresh ratings each time.
24-hour edit window, then locked. You can revise typos or add detail within 24 hours of posting. After that, the rating is locked — you can only reply publicly to it.
No paying for ratings. Cash, free pallets, or "future discounts" in exchange for 5 stars = both parties get banned. We monitor.
No threatening to leave negative ratings. Using rating leverage to extort price changes, refunds, or favors = banned. Bring real disputes to the formal dispute log instead.
Disputes & Removals
Think a rating was unfair? Here's what you can do.
A rating gets reviewed and potentially removed only when it violates the rules above — not because somebody just didn't like the score. Disputed ratings stay visible during review (with a "Disputed" flag) so nothing disappears silently.
Steps:1. Reply publicly to the rating first — the response will appear right under it. 2. If it violates a Rule, file a dispute through your dashboard within 14 days. 3. Tom + the moderation team review every dispute personally.
